Imran Sekalala is a Data Science Fellow at Sunbird, where he uses geospatial software to analyze urban development in Jinja and Fort Portal. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley, with a focus on Data Arts and a minor in Environmental Design & Urbanism. Imran has worked on software development at Berkeley’s CNMAT, as a data scientist at Blackbook University, and as a researcher at the Antikythera Program. He is passionate about building technology for creative and social transformation.
